Hiroshi is one of the most respected designers in the sneakers and streetwear world, which helps make this one of the most talked-about Air Jordan 3s ever made. Like many of the more recent AJ3 releases, the fragment AJ3 features the always desirable Nike Air branding on the heel. Two small RNA fragments, 5,3S and 4,7S, were observed in gel electrophoretic analysis of RNA of the 40S ribosomal subunit of rat liver. However, the tradition Elephant Print patterns that normally reside on the heel and around the toebox, are replaced with smooth black leather with the ever-important fragment design lightning bolt logo embossed on the lateral sides. As far as Air Jordan 3 releases go, the colorway has a similar color blocking to that of the original Fire Red Jordan 3, but of course, with royal blue replacing the red. The colorway emulates the fragment design x Air Jordan 1 that sells for upwards of $2,000-3,000 depending on which platform you are looking at. The fragment design x Air Jordan 3 quickly jumped to the top of the list when it comes to fragment design collabs when it was seen on Hiroshi Fujiwara’s feet back in April of 2019.
